My journey began in the rolling hills of Marangu, in the shadow of majestic Kilimanjaro. As the youngest of eight children, I grew up in a small village characterized by hard work and an unwavering belief in teamwork and community.
Through my networks in the USA, Africa, and Europe, I had the opportunity to work with the best German distilleries in the Black Forest. This is where my vision was born: the creation of Lomatan and Jagaboom, two brands that proudly represent the finest spirits, masterfully crafted in Germany and yet deeply rooted in the culture of Tanzania.

Loveness's journey began in the rolling hills of Marangu, located in the shadow of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Growing up as the youngest of eight children in a small village, she developed an unwavering belief in hard work, teamwork, and community.
Today, she carries these core values forward as an entrepreneur, a politician, and the founder of Riviera Wholesale Ltd in Dar es Salaam. The principles instilled during her upbringing — resilience, collaboration, and a deep sense of responsibility to others — remain the foundation upon which every Riviera endeavor is built.
Tanzania is a land of extraordinary beauty and diversity. From the savannah plains of the Serengeti to the spice-scented shores of Zanzibar, it is a country that inspires wonder. Our spirits carry this spirit of adventure and warmth in every bottle.
The name Lomatan is derived from the Maasai culture, symbolizing strength, pride, and the deep connection between people and the land they call home.
Germany's Black Forest region is renowned for its centuries-old distilling tradition. Here, master distillers work with the finest ingredients, using time-honored techniques passed down through generations.
Every Lomatan and Jagaboom product is handcrafted in these legendary distilleries, where precision and passion meet to create spirits of uncompromising quality.
With a strong background in healthcare and a deep passion for entrepreneurship, Loveness is dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized nonprofits throughout Tanzania and beyond.
She firmly believes that health is a critical factor in human growth and our interactions with the world. Her overarching goal is to connect continuous learning to every facet of her work to effectively achieve this mission.
Leveraging her extensive professional networks across the USA, Africa, and Europe, Loveness secured the unique opportunity to collaborate with top-tier German distilleries in the Black Forest.
